Your figures stay with you.
The start-date checker calculates in your browser. It does not send entered income to MTD Scope, put it in the address, or save it to local storage. The application does not save a copy of your figures. Your browser may manage its own form autofill.
What the website receives
The hosting provider receives ordinary web requests, which may include your IP address, browser details and the requested page. This is different from the income you type into the checker. We have not added advertising scripts or analytics, and the application does not set cookies.
Other tools
Software filters use address parameters so a shortlist can be reopened. These describe software requirements, not income amounts. The preparation checklist stores ticks only for the current page session. Downloaded calendars and printed results are saved by your browser or calendar app.

GOV.UK and software providers operate their own websites and privacy policies. We never ask for your Government Gateway login, National Insurance number, bank login or tax documents.
